I carefully scrape my words
I make them portable
they fall
To show up
A fascination for materiality and an eye for refinement.
Inside a fragile building
creating portable spaces.

(On)verstilde Tijd
(On)verstilde Tijd is a ritual-like experience in which words and visualisations unfold into a portable, fragile landscape. The intimacy of the work creates a space where the viewer becomes part of the environment, a mutual becoming through intra-action. All letters, punctuation and tangible words engraved on the paper originate from the poetry book Nabloei. Combining visual elements with an aquatic fragrance and soundscape of water, the installation offers a layered, sensory experience.
