Nabloei is a collection of poems about 'me and the other' and 'the other in me'. The poems were ritually written in 30 days, after which the words were carefully scraped. The story is divided into three phases - comparable to the physical and chemical use of 'phase' to indicate one of the three appearances of a substance (solid, liquid, gas) - and is similar in structure to a scientific enumeration. The booklet has to be torn open along the perforated side which is related to the intimacy of the story just like personal stories that are secured, the booklet will first have to be torn open before the content can be revealed. Each copy is handbound by the poet. The collection of poems consists of a small edition of 25 copies. Photos: Daphne Dake, robstolk Amsterdam
